Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TokKeep. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Who you are contracting with

TokKeep is operated by Dasheng LLC. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Dasheng LLC, and "you" means the person using the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. If you are using it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

By creating an account you confirm you are not located in any of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What the service does

TokKeep automates a retrieval anyone can perform by hand: it locates the publicly served video file for a public TikTok account and saves it for you, in batches. It does not alter the files it fetches.

We only handle content that is publicly accessible without signing in. We do not bypass sign-in, private accounts, or any restriction that controls who may view a video, and we never ask for your TikTok password.

Your responsibility for the content you download

You must hold the rights to anything you download, or have another lawful basis for downloading it, and you must comply with the source platform's terms and with copyright law.

We do not review what you choose to download and we do not grant you any rights in it. Deciding whether a download is lawful is your responsibility, not ours.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to infringe anyone's rights, to collect material you are not entitled to, to work around technical limits we apply to your plan, to resell access, or to disrupt the service or the platforms it reaches.

Automated access to the service outside the interface we provide is not permitted without our written agreement.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are subscriptions. Each plan is billed in advance for one billing period, and renews automatically until you cancel. The length of the billing period and the current price for each plan are listed on the pricing page.

Moving between paid plans is handled by the billing portal, which calculates any difference at the time of the change.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your account. Canceling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep full functionality until that date, and you are not charged again.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for a billing period that has already started, including periods you did not use or used only partly. Because your subscription continues to the end of the period you paid for, canceling does not shorten the service you receive — it stops the next charge.

Charges are not prorated. If you cancel partway through a billing period, the remaining days are not refunded and are not credited toward a future subscription.

Availability and changes

The service depends on systems we do not control, including the platforms it retrieves content from. It may be interrupted, limited, or changed, and features may be added or removed. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or where we are required to do so.

You can stop using the service at any time. Closing your account ends your right to use it; sections that by their nature should survive — including responsibility for content you downloaded, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity — continue to apply.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

TokKeep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok, Douyin or ByteDance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for loss of data arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply only so far as that jurisdiction permits.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, or from content you downloaded without holding the necessary rights.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised terms.
